How do I apply press-on nails?

- Lightly buff and clean the natural nail so it is dry and free from oil.
- Use adhesive tabs for short-term wear or nail glue for a longer hold.
- Place the press-on near the cuticle at a slight angle and press firmly for at least 30 seconds.
Can MaYonail press-on nails be reused?
Yes. MaYonail press-on nails can be reused when they are applied, removed and stored carefully. Adhesive tabs are usually easier to remove and reuse. Nail glue gives a stronger hold but requires more careful removal and cleaning.
Nail glue or adhesive tabs: which should I choose?
Choose adhesive tabs when you want short-term wear, quick removal or frequent design changes. Choose nail glue when you want a stronger, longer-lasting hold. Follow the instructions included with your set and never pull a press-on nail off by force.
How long do press-on nails last?
Wear time depends on nail preparation, adhesive choice and daily activity. Adhesive tabs are intended for shorter wear, while nail glue can last longer when applied to clean, dry nails. Individual results vary.
How do I choose the right size?
Test the press-on against your natural nail before applying adhesive. It should cover the nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the skin. If you are between sizes, choose the slightly larger nail and file the edges gently for a closer fit.
How do I remove press-on nails safely?
Soak the nails in warm, soapy water with a little oil, then gently loosen them from the sides. Do not force or peel them off. Glue-on sets may need a longer soak and more careful cleaning before reuse.
